  We harvested sugar cane.
Reporter   Nakano 7th JHS, Tokyo, Japan , Nature Research Club    Date   20070421

We harvested sugar cane grown in Tokyo and tried to make brown sugar.

This is the sugarcane before we harvested. As we had planted in June 2005, it was so big. (HN, 7th grade)
We are peeling sugar canes. (HN, 7th grade)

Body

We tried to measure the weight of harvested sugar canes. What do you think the weight of them?
